Mrs. Mary Matters, 6667 Happiness Circle Any Town, MN 55555
Dear Mrs. Matters: With this cover letter I am applying for the position of Family Nanny in your
Sacramento home. I found your need posted on the socialservicenetwork.com site.
It would be my pleasure to help care for your son in your home. Please read my resume. You will see I have extensive experience overseeing the recreation, diet, health, education and
conduct of hard working parent's children throughout the state for fifteen years.
I am also qualified to assist with aspects of their education and training, if this something you'd like. In my twenties, I taught reading, writing and math to 2nd and 3rd grade students. This was in a small Texas parochial school. Although I still enjoy teaching, I realized my love of children directed me to being a nanny.
I realize the importance of hiring the person who is "right" for your children. I would be more than happy to meet with you and discuss my abilities and your specific needs. I'm able to
accommodate your schedule. Please contact me at sample@sample.com or you can call me anytime at my cell phone number: (555) 555-5555 and we can discuss a good time to get together.
I know that truly fine people are sought for such work. It is not common to find high quality nannies so I thank you for considering me. My resume with a list of previous family employers is
enclosed for your study. Feel free to contact any of them.
I look forward to meeting you and your children. Sincerely,
Sally Snudd
